Summer Stay & Sail 12 day Special for July and August.
This is an area renowned for its mild climate with beautiful interior landscapes and the azure waters of the Gulf with its numerous islands. The Gulf of Morbihan has been described as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. There is something for all tastes, from Locmariaquer and its ancient stones in the west, taking in the walled town of Vannes, on to the Rhuys Peninsula in the east and stunning coastline.
One week staying in our ‘Maison de Maitre’ you will have the opportunity to explore and discover Southern Brittany.During the first week you will be accommodated at Pen er Huern which has 2 ensuite bedrooms sleeping four, breakfast is included. There is a living/dining room with open fire, a garden with small patio and a barbecue can be provided. There are plenty of places to visit with medieval towns, ramparts, castles, the legendary 'foret of Brocéliande’, the ‘Basilica of Sainte Anne d’Auray’, the ‘Menhirs of Carnac’ to name but a few . For those looking for activities you will find biking, surfing, land yachting, tennis, horse riding, kayaking, fishing etc. There are plenty of festivals during the summer months too.
For the second week 'all aboard' Tamara for a sailing adventure around the magnificent Brittany coast visiting different ports and numerous islands. Sit back and relax or be ‘hands on’ sailing - the choice is yours. If any of your party would like to do a RYA Practical Course we can happily arrange this at no extra charge.
On the Saturday you will join ‘Tamara’ in the port of Vannes. This starts with a welcome followed by a short safety brief. The programme is flexible depending on where you would like to go and the weather. We have numerous ports, bays and islands to choose from, for example Houât, Hoëdic, Belle Ile, Ile aux Moines, Trinité-sur-Mer, Quiberon…
Price for 12 days 3,480€ based on four people.
Price Includes:
- Ensuite accommodation ashore including breakfast
- Accommodation on board Tamara for the sailing week
- Duvet, pillow, bedding and towels
- All breakfasts, lunches and evening meals on board are included except one evening ashore.
